Community Champion Award Recipients 2024

This year’s recipients are John West for everything he has done for the West Bay community and for establishing the West Bay Discovery Centre, which attracts tourists and local residents alike; Wendy Lees, for selflessly helping the Ukrainian refugees to settle into our community; and Selwyn Holmes for his long service as a Councillor on the Parish Council and as a Governor of Symondsbury Primary School as well as his work setting up the Dorset Craft Guild.

Everyone was presented with a commemorative ‘Neil Barnes’ photograph of Colmer’s Hill, inscribed with a small plaque and a voucher to spend on the garden. Congratulations all.
